From the Tabernacle
During my early years of formation, I met a sister who coined the term, "Jesus trapped in the Tabernacle", her way of expressing how something our faith stops at desiring to receive Jesus though the Holy Communion. Jesus becomes present to us in that moment and then, he is sent into the tabernacle, trapped there because we suppress the grace and power He offers us to bring about a communion of the divine and humane to do more for the world.
This blog, From the Tabernacle, hopes to be a personal response to this concern of us trapping Jesus in the tabernacle because of our unwillingness to challenge the status quo, our need for familiarity, conforming to rules that doesn't make sense!
